Lean on Me

The name of our business is a dead giveaway that Shelly and I are believers. Sometimes they "know we are Christians" (as the old hymn goes) by our words, actions, and love that we show.  Sometimes, unfortunately, people have to look a bit deeper. That's because we're humans. God's grace has us covered, when we stray. But regardless if you are a believer or not, we hope you see we are like you in some ways. And even though threads of our spiritual beliefs are woven into our business, our blog posts, our social media, and our business name we...

Looking Back On The Blessings Of 2020

Posted by Christy Steele on

'I know the title to this blog post seems to be in conflict with what most people think of when they think, "2020". It has even become a catch phrase on social media. "That's so 2020" (along with many more). In no way at all would I want to diminish the trials, heartbreaks, and sickness that many have endured this year. The point is not passing those fears on. The point is supporting each other through all the "irrational" stuff. The phrase "fear not" appears in the Bible at least eighty times. That has to mean something, right? I am certain that satan uses fear to immobilize and limit us....

Facing Your Fears

Posted by Christy Steele on

I sat down to write this blog post once before. My fingers started typing and out came a totally different and unexpected post. Read our previous blog, "Make It Count", to see what happened with that one. So, I will attempt this one again. On one of our lives in the Triple Faith Tribe group, we had a rapid fire question thing going on. One of the questions fired at us was, "What irrational fear do you have?" Shelly's was easy. She has a fear of frogs. She will be the first to admit it is irrational. I sat there...
